Named after Civil War General, Thomas Turpin Crittenden, General's Quarters (GQ for short) is an ideal location to gather with friends and family to make memories to last a lifetime. The building is a duplex with 2 separate homes (207 & 209). Each home includes 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths and includes a queen sleeper sofa for guests 9 and 10.
The homes are 3 stories and include:
Two parking space are reserved for each home in the back. Street parking is also available on a first come first served basis. Since GQ is located in walking distance to Main street, the river and the festival action you may not need to drive once you arrive.
At this time we do not allow pets. We can make recommendations for boarding in Madison as an alternative.
Yes, we offer off street parking behind the house (2 spaces assigned per house) and there is street parking.

Usually, yes, just ask as soon as you think you need it. I will do everything I can to accommodate early check in or late check out. It all depends on the arrival of the next guest. Usually it is not an issue, but there are some times I can't. We take our cleaning and resetting of the house for the next guest seriously, so we can't discount the hours it takes to clean and get ready.
