About General's Quarters

Named after Civil War General,  Thomas Turpin Crittenden, General's Quarters (GQ for short) is an ideal location to gather with friends and family to make memories to last a lifetime. The building is a duplex with 2 separate homes (207 & 209). Each home includes 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths and includes a queen sleeper sofa for guests 9 and 10.


Each home is 3 stories and include: 

  1. Bottom floor - walkout, 2 Queen bedrooms and shared bathroom 
  2. Main floor - kitchen, family room (Queen sleeper sofa), dining room, deck access, and floor entered from the front steps  
  3. Top floor - river views, 2 King beds with each its own bathroom, washer & dryer (209 only), ironing board.


Two parking space are reserved for each home in the back. Street parking is also available on a first come first served basis. Since GQ is located in walking distance to Main street, the river and the festival action you may not need to drive once you arrive.

Usually, yes. A fee of $35/hr, up to 2 hours is charged. We will have to confirm the request a few days before your check-in date. We need to make sure we can accommodate the timing with our cleaners and other guest reservations.
